C2C Corner to Corner Tutorial

Have you ever wondered how to do the corner to corner cloths and blankets.  Been a little intimidated to try.  Well you don't have anything to be intimidated by. Its actually quite simple. I thought for sure it would be a lot harder than it is. 

Here I will show you step by step how to go about doing the C2C. Mine is a little different cause instead of slip stitch I do a single crochet. 

Here it is step by step picture tutorial. At the bottom you will find a small video to watch as well if you wish.

Step 1: Start with a slip knot and chain 5 

Step 2: Double Crochet into the 3rd chain

Step 3: Double Crochet into remaining 2 Chains

Step 4: Chain 5 and turn

Step 5: Double Crochet into the 3rd chain
and next 2 chains

                     

                        Step 6: Single Crochet into the chain 2 space at far end

Step 7: Work 3 Double Crochet into the same space

In each row you will be adding 1 more block to your C2C
Now to show Color Change

When you come to the last part of the
Double Crochet you will add in the second color.

After you have made the simple color change you will continue in pattern 

Decreasing you C2C requires you to do slip stitches.

Slip stitch across your 3 double crochet and chain 2

Continue in pattern till you come to the end. Instead of working your single crochet 1 chain 1 you will slip stitch turn and work 3 slip stitches into the top of the 3 double crochets you just made.
